Time to build an Ark
This weekend has mostly been a haze, seen threw half closed napping eyes. But one things has remained constant, the rain. Over two feet of rain in two days as a matter of fact. This was measured by our scuba bucket being left outside and being filled with rain more than once.
Saturday actually looked like a typhoon was outside with the wind howling and the wind driving the rain. There was even a tree down on the way to work (I suspect it was weakened from the typhoon). It was an all out ugly day.
But after my Vollun-told class, I came home and started sucking down the Nyquil. Every time I started to come out of my drug induced stuppor, I would suck down some more. I passed out into oblivion until sometime this morning.
Today I haven't been nocking back the Nyquil but napping naturally and all in all getting some rest. I feel infinitely better than I did on Friday but there is still a general ickyness mostly stemming from my ears acting horrid. They feel as if they are filled with wet cotton.
But at least this was a crappy weekend and I didn't miss any diving or anything.
